This brings up mixed emotions for the Neo Empire team. World Cyber Games are almost the Yang to Neo Empire’s Yin in that they are a corporate entity who exist to make money from competitive gaming. However, given the current crop of crap that is served up at WCG tournaments (come on now… Need for Speed?) it is interesting to hear that there is talk behind the scenes of Street Fighter IV being part of the WCG 2009 line-up.
Given the quite frankly ridiculous money thrown behind these events, if the game were to become a part of WCG, some of our Neo Empire tournament winners might be in with a real chance of landing some awesome prizes.
