Just as everyone right in their mind here didn't think that SVB results meant shit like "UK is shit compared to Spain/Italy", that money match sure doesn't mean "Italy is shit compared to UK" like what your last couple sentences could be misread to be saying.
Honestly, I don't see the point in proving a point (no pun intended). Expecially proving a point against shitheads that troll on "iplaywinner" or any random website. Those are people who don't even ever show up at any event. Are they really worth a dime of your time?

It also should be said that confrontations were quite too few and sparse to really claim a "best country". All in all, few matches don't have that big of a meaning. It's still singles vs singles, it's not like a big teamwork with all the might of the nation behind that proving superiority of the race or some nazi-like propaganda shit
RickyTTT beating Zak and Shirl beating Ryan at SVB didn't mean that some country beat another country, just that two good players happened to win against other two good players. Just like F-Word beating Shirl in a money match just means that F-Word is a good player and that he won that match, without taking that to meta-meanings or whatnot.
I was right there when Ryan beat Daigo and Alioune beat Fuudo at the master series, and rooting like crazy for both of them, and I was happy to see that the japanese weren't so far in level to get free wins on european ground. Still, it was the success of two amazing players in couple of games (meaningful, but stilla couple). Had the Cannes event ended there, many would be suddenly claiming that Europe >> Japan which would have been pretty silly based on that few games.

Only consistent results with many different players and games over the span of a long time can really dictate "country A is stronger than country B at game X".
For instance, after several confrontations in the past it became clear that France and UK are way above every other EU country at 3S (at least they were when I was still following the 3s scene. If now something has changed I don't know, but at least at some point in the past the UK/FR 3s dominance was really evident and set in stone). Saying that had solid basis since there were lots of events and lot of games with lots of players from every country involved.
For SF4 we're not still at that point. Either the level is much more even, or simply even if some country is way better then others there still isn't enough solid proof.

Wtf guys i thought this thread got locked off. Oh well, cant be botherd to send a PM. Fugo i'll say this and please let's call it a day. I wasnt trying to say one country is better than the other. I just wanted to show that silly fan boy and all reading americans that he was over rating guys, which i did. So point proven. It clearly doesn't matter what i think the strongest scene is anyway.
